Single Copy Cluster (SCC)
Single Copy Cluster mode of deployment is very similar to clustering in previous editions of Exchange with some improvements. In this, multiple servers are allowed to manage a single copy of storage group residing on an external shared storage device. The two cluster server nodes connect to shared storage in active/passive configuration and these servers appear to other computers to be in a single system. When either of them fails, the cluster node makes the resources available for the other node to continue the operation.
