Cluster Continuous Replication is another high availability feature deployment on Exchange 2007 which delivers out-of-the-box replication through log shipping and negates a common backend storage requirement.
Characteristics
- There is no single point of failure
- No specific hardware requirements
- Has no shared storage (SAN) requirement
- Can be deployed in one or two datacenter configurations
- Reduces full backup frequency, total backed up data volume
- Reduce recovery time window from first failure
